(yeah, I know 3 posts in 5mins. what can I say, I'm on a posty roll, don't worry I'll soon shut up for another month or so)
I got joint highest score in my classes "end of term wine tasting" competition.
It was a blind taste test of two reds and two whites.
We had to identify the grape variety, the vintage, the country and the vineyard
I got the vineyard wrong on the first bottle, but after that I aced the rest
am pretty darn pleased with myself.
Unfortunately, I also got VERY drunk - and was off work today due to blinding headache. Luckily I've been having sinus problems all week, so I told them it was that.
Guess what flares up - yup, my bloody sinuses.

Just glanced back through my LJ and apart from the filtered posts, most of my entries revolve around drinking wine.
This could possibly give new comers the wrong impression of me.
or possibly not.
Went to visit the family tonight to collect their gifts to take down to the Christening
Got their approval on what I got Ella.
Spent aaages polishing it, so was all sparkly and pretty in the little box the jewlers gave me.
I'd found, with Robs help, a little box suitable for keeping her first tooth (I find this tooth and lock of hair thing very strange)
I was wandering around the shops last night and the big fancy jewlers had got something similar, but just a little bit more classier. Solid silver cylinder, cone shaped lid, and a gold fairy on the top, all in this lovely silk lined box.
Also got a big fluffy cuddly teddybear because scale models of Formula1 racing cars aren't suitable for babies.
