themusesbitchChrissy has posed these questions to me. I answer them for all to read. You may then ask me to interview YOU, and I shall pose five questions, which you must answer in your own LJ... and those who read it have the option of having you interview THEM. Pretty simple, eh?
Alternatively, if YOU have five questions that you desperately want to ask me, then leave them here and I'll do my best to answer them.

1. For some bizarre reason, you have to give up either cheese or curry for the rest of your life. Which one do you live without?
Cheese isn't just a food group, it's a way of life.
When you're sad then brie is your best friend.
When you're happy thing stringy 'processed' cheese is fun.
When you're trying to impress then baked camembert is your classy companion.
Curry is good, but it wouldn't be a life altering event if I had to give it up.

2. Of all the places you've lived, which was your favourite, and why?
Depends on how I interpret favourite. To live in, to visit, to read about.
Each country added something to me as a person. Even when it was a negative experience it was still worth it.
Cologne was a rollercoaster of fun, but it was a very extravagant life style - something that didn't sit well with me.
On reflection maybe the fun went to my head.
s'Hertogenbosch gave me a glimpse into something I've never experienced before, and probably never will again when I was told I wasn't welcome because of the colour of my skin, and my accent. Luckily I could walk away unlike people who have to face this genuinely on a daily basis. It didn't allow me to understand what it's like for people who have to suffer the real abuse, but it did show me what it isn't
But as I wasn't allowed to spend time with others, I had to get used to spending time with myself - which is something I've never been very good at.
As for Paris , Rome and Amsterdam , I didn't spend enough time there to be anything other than an overstaying tourist.
If you're ever on a site seeing trip around Europe then I can recommend all of them.

3. Someone wants to create a character based on you. What TV show would he be written into, and what would his role be?
I'm thinking some 80's show, like Family Ties. Each week, over the course of the episode my character would have it all, but then let it slip through his grasp. You'd all laugh at the situations he'd be in, but then feel a twang of guilt cause y'know, he meant well, and he deserves a break now and then.

4. If you could have any superpower, what would you choose, and why?
Ooooh - now, despite the fact I *HATE* comic book heroes that have superpowers, if I had to have something, it'd be mindreading.
Might help put my paranoia at rest.
Either that, or x-ray vision. Sure, I might not be able to tell if she fancied me like I would have with the mind reading ability, but hey, I'd sure have fun *g*
The trouble with superpowers is that according to the books and TV, you have to use them responsibly and for good. I'm not sure I'd be able to do that - I know it bugs the heck out of me when Superman doesnt take advantage of what he's been given.

5. If you had to go back and relive any single year of your life, which one would you choose, and why?
Non - not in the 'go back and change things' way. My initial response was a whole stream of years.
The year before my dad died, to put things right sooner, and make the most of the time
the year I decided to take the path of the dark side and this time not mix with the 'wrong crowd'
The thing is, I learnt too much from my mistakes to miss out on them. Even the terrible times shape me into who I am now.
So how about the good years... reliving those.
Moving to a foreign country, the year when I won all the motorsport awards
The trouble is, what made them so great, was the uncertancy.
The excitement of not knowing how I'd cope in a strange land
The thrill of the car spinning. Will we crash, or will we somehow get control back. Going back and doing it again would take the mystery out of it.
Nope, unless I *really* have to, then I don't want to redo anything.
