Ever wish that sometimes your friends weren't that great ?

Now and again I just feel smothered with their caring and generosity to the point of self censoring my LJ posts.
Lately I've tried to only post when things are at extremes - either good or bad just to avoid all the {Hugs} when I've had an average day.
Am I the only one that has average days? Most days seem "ok" nothing great happened, but then nothing bad happened either, but as soon as I say that , I'm inundated with friends offering support. Now, don't get me wrong, I love them to bits for that, but I happen to like dull days. They make you appreciate the good days and show that the bad days can get better.
Maybe it's me. Do I give off a constant "feel sorry for me / I need a hug" vibe?
Same as gifts. Tonight I came back and found an email saying that the LJ Fairy had paid me a visit. Now whoever paid for my LJ account thank you ever so much. That was truelly unexpected, and I'm exceedingly greatful, but now I'm worried that my previous post must have sounded like a begging letter.
I didn't need a paid account. I wasn't hoping that by whining about it running out that someone would pick up the tab for me.
I was trying to make the comment that my account had expired and instead of renewing it I spent the money on something else.
I'm really thrilled by having it renewed, but I'm now very cautious about mentioning anything like this again
but while we're on the subject, I'm having problems making the payments on a yacht that I like the look of.... anyone got £200k to spare?

Had a pretty good day today.
Finally managed to drag myself away from my coffee long enough to hit the bank and pay the bills.
Popped in to Mothercare. There was a couple of outfits in the 3-6month range, but they all seemed too cute and yucksy - although they were pink so Jennie would probably approve. Might check out Mamas & Papas in the Bullring tomorrow. My bet on the sweepstake was that she'd have bump today... got two minutes left, so I'm guessing I lose :(

Tonight was latinoblokeLeo's birthday meal. I got him "Welcome to Colinwood" DVD which I kept falling asleep when Pooks was watching it at Halloween so I'm gonna have to make an excuse to go round and watch it *g*
Then we (huglyhouseLin, londonbeautySteph and robashbyRob) went out for a meal. I pigged out on a roast turkey dinner and then fudge brownie sundæ.
