all change
Mar. 12th, 2007 09:21 amFirst of all - some pics from last weekend are now up :)

Next, how come I've got swiss-cheese memory, and have genuine problems with my midterm memory, but when Debbie Gibson came up on random play on my iPod, I could remember every bloody lyric to her "Electric Youth" album!
That doesn't seem fair somehow :(
Anyroads, onto the main point.
As the Honda advert says, You take something, you change something, you take something, change something, make something better
The last two weeks have stomped all over my flickering levels of optimism.
Family/relationships/work/blahblah, none of this is going in the direction I want.
The Bronze's 10th at the weekend was the final nail in the coffin as it was a chance to look back - eeek now that was scary!
So, the question is, what to do about it.
I've been fairly happy with the way my "Don't be so nice for 2months" New Years resolution went, so I think I'll go with that format again.
This time, the target is the "online" world.
Blogs, emails at work, MSN Messenger, SMS text messages.
It's too easy to keep in touch with people but there's something missing, the personal connection is broke somehow.
Heck, if Christina hadn't mentioned JML in her journal I probably wouldn't have even checked the rally forum - that's how disenchanted I am with the online world now.
Rather conveniently, my broadband connection is playing up and my cellphone is wonky - so both are looking at being turned off for six weeks (I could swap my M5000 phone for the new M700 now, but I want to hang on and get the Vox, so if you need to get hold of me, use the housephone or my other cellphone - the number is here)
I think along with the above, if I turn on the filter that blocks all external mail coming into my landrover account then I'll be forced to get off my butt and go visit people.
That's the plan.
