Feb. 3rd, 2008 11:44 pmI'd been following American Football for three or four seasons (well, as best as you could in this country back then) when my adopted team, the New England Patriots managed to make it to Superbowl XX - the first Superbowl that we'd been able to watch on TV.
Of course, they ended up losing to the bears with those loveable rascals the Fridge and Jim McMahon
That was over 20yrs ago and after that I watched the Superbowl fairly religiously until 2001
It seems by losing my support, the Patriots haven't done too shabby since then.
Maybe if I stop cheering for Subaru they might start building a proper rally car?
