You know how when you're in the office, and you're all busy working and then someone says something funny so you giggle along with the joke and then you realise no one else is giggling and the boss asks why you're laughing at something serious and you panic so you say "oh, it reminded me of an episode of XKCD" because you know that working with a bunch of geeks means none of them will want to let slip that they dont recognise the connection and admit they can't remember every issue so they all pretend to know which one you're refering to and join in the laughing, which gives you enough time to remember exactly what was being discussed and think to yourself...

HOW MANY MONTHS WORKING AT THE OFFICE IN THE HIMALAYAS?!?!?!?!     FUCK THAT

It's a small world (well, roughly 510 million sq km if I remember).
Was in some random pub tonight and got chatting to some guy who it turns out is best friends with the guy who led the Ogy V rescue team that got me down from the north ridge of T
Had a really good chat with him about various outdoor things that seemed to be making the people at the table next to us feel a bit queezy... that'll teach them to listen in on our conversation.

Also, Himilayas doesn't seem quite so bad having slept on the idea...
Still not going, but hmmmm, nope definately not going.
