ShirazP, how did the Easter Egg making go?
After a bit of inspiration from when I went to visit Anne and Mark the other week, I decided to try my hand at making my own easter eggs as I thought it'd be something a bit different for someone.
I got the egg mould and then after raiding the Chocolate Hotel (ouch... how much?!?!?) melted the chocolate ingredients and added extra vanilla to give it a bit extra yummyness. Unfortunately, I wimped out and never gave the finished eggs to them, instead I got them something less personal from Thorntons (well, technically got two, as the first attempt at icing writing on Cathys went horribly wrong).
I ended up giving my mom some of the rejected chocolate - along with some DVD's and a book she's been after so at least that kept her happy.
One of the most eloquent pieces of writing I've read on UKC for a long time.
To be fair, that's not hard, but it still didn't stop the odd tear

Picked up my canoe :)
Here it is, along with my kayak and my mountain bike (and yes I know they both need cleaning, I was too knackered to do it when I got back)

Took bloody ages to get home. Driving in severe gales with nearly 17ft of aerofoil tied to the roof makes for a fun experience!
