tonymorelQuick trip to the Lakes to support the charity auction in aid of Patterdale and Wasdale Mountain Rescue units.
Between the auction on the night, and selling of some items on e-bay, we'll have raised around £2000 and with help from Barclays bank who offered to match it, we were able to donate £4000, which was lucky, cause the next morning, they were called out on a shout to the crag directly above where I was walking.

It's a baby Stone Henge
Stopping for a quick drink
Some nice rolling countryside
Somethings going on directly above me
It's the recue helicopter
Feeling quite fortunate that it's not me up there being winched to safety
One more hill and then I'm home
