OK, needed something to do, and what better thing than SNOW.
So, in the hope the current weather continues, I've booked up for a weekend up north in 2weeks time.
Lots of snow around the cabin, and the current conditions up on the peaks are -16°c, snow & ice , with avalanche warnings, and require full crampons / ice axe equipment.

How cool is that :)

OK, bit of a tentitive plan here. What are folks doing 12/13th 19^th/20^th April?

I've waffled on about Llyn Gwynant Campsite many times as being one of my favourite campsites - you can get a feel for it in the pics below.



They rent kayaks out if you want to come have a splash about in the lake. The nearby walks are all a bit extreme and tough, but it's a good base to go off and do some gentle walks or biking just a short drive away.

I'm sure if we get Lin and Leo there we can get a good scrabble tournament going and they allow big campfires so plenty of BBQ nosh and mugs of hot chocolate on the evening.

I've got a couple of spare tents / airbeds etc if you want to come along and give it a go.
