My dad always dreamed that one day he'd have a Leisure 17SL for us to sail around the Norfolk Broads on.
This example came back up for sale, and although she's in pretty rough condition and will need a lot of TLC, it will be nice to try and finally realise that dream of his.

you will have to say when you go to the broads, as Giles Parents also have a boat they take out and glen- his dad is one of the volunteer community river patrol.

She's being brought up to Neals for working on next month.

Technically she's sea worthy now. There's a spot of fibreglassing that needs to be done on one of the stanchions but that won't affect her ability to sail.

I want to strip her right back and redo all the paintwork, the woodwork and the fabrics, then replace things like the anchor chain and put in some lights and navigation equipment.

Then of course, I've got to decide where to actually sail her!
