I'd got these great plans...
Finish work at lunch time, come home, do a bit of housework, relax, so am fresh and full of energy ready for the weekend.
First Chris turned up at my desk 5mins before I have to catch the bus. Eventually got rid of him half an hour later, had to run in huge rain storm to get to the station.
Get home, then Dave phoned from the office. Big issues there :(
Start cleaning. Find some old photos and get distracted for an hour or two.
Decide to start tidying the spare room, but then Toni is online with her good news (YAY YOU). Have a quick chat.
Then EverDawn is online.
Then Shaun is online, and again, would be rude not to say hello.
Next thing I know, it's midnight, and I've not done any real cleaning. Not a problem, will pull an all nighter.
BRRRRRRING. Door bell. It's the first grand prix of the season, so Warren and the gang all turn up... ermm... vague hazy memories of me saying "everyone come round to mine for a GP Party"
Manage to get rid of them.
Phone their cell phone, invite them back. Heck, the housework can wait.
Everyone left around 6am. Time to start cleaning.
Ooooh - found my Calvin & Hobbes book. Just a quick 5mins skim, then back to the cleaning
Next thing I know, it's 9am. IceAngel is on the phone confirming what time her train arrives, the housework isn't done, I've not slept, and there's still three stories left in the Calvin & Hobbes book to read.
Will read just one more strip, and then start the cleaning - honest.
heee-heee-heee Calvin is trying to sell Hobbes to a pet store :)

good thing you posted about the GP or I'd have forgotten to get up tomorrow morning at the stupid hour of 2am to watch it :) shall have to go check the website now for the qualifying details incase i forget to watch later, all these new rules are intriguing me especially the ones where they can't refill their car following qualifying and they can't work on it all night like they used to... could go either way make it better or worse depending on whether someone totals their car or not :)

Was a late night, but qualifying was definately worth it. A good buzz before the start. Been a long time since that happened.
My theory before qualifying started was it'll be the same as last year. Schumi#1 on top, then Rubino being a good boy in 2nd. Coulthard will be complaining about his qualifying lap was ruined because "his mom only gave him two roast potatoes as a child, but his brother got three" or some such crap. Kimi will ruin his best qualifying lap cause he had to stop and do his homework, and Williams will be shouting how they might not be so great this seaon, but they'll be a strong challenge for the 2000/2001/2002/2003/2004 championship.

I guess some things never change (unlike the rules *g*)
